  • 1 1/4 cups cold unsalted butter, diced
  • 5 cups peeled, pitted, and chopped peaches
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for filling)
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (for filling)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt (for filling)
  • 6 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar (preferably dark)
  • Reserved crumb mixture from crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture is crumbly; reserve 1 cup for topping.
  3. Press the remaining mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, mix chopped peaches with sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt until coated. Pour over the crust and drizzle with heavy cream.
  5. Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture and brown sugar on top.
  6. Bake for about 60 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before slicing.
