  • 1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In one bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients gently to avoid overmixing.
  5. Fold in fresh blueberries carefully.
  6. In a separate bowl, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  7. Line a muffin tin with liners. Fill each liner with muffin batter followed by cream cheese filling and top with more batter.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the tin for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
