  • 1 (3.4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 package pre-made croissant dough (8 croissants)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the croissant dough and cut it into triangles as per package instructions.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and whole milk until thickened (about 2 minutes), then gently fold in powdered sugar until smooth.
  4. Place a tablespoon of pastry cream at the wider end of each triangle and roll tightly from base to tip. Place seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. For the chocolate glaze, heat heavy cream in a saucepan until boiling, then stir in cocoa powder until smooth.
  7. Once cooled slightly, dip the tops of croissants into the chocolate glaze and let set on wire racks.
