  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons plant-based oyster sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 green onions (sliced)

Instructions

  1. Cut the beef into 1-inch cubes and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine hoisin sauce, soy sauce, plant-based oyster sauce, garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, and black pepper. Toss the beef cubes in the marinade until well coated and let it sit covered in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Spread the marinated beef evenly on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle sugar on top to create a crust.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
