Cowboy Butter Chicken Linguine is a flavorful and comforting dish that’s perfect for any occasion. This easy-to-make recipe features tender chicken cooked in a rich, buttery sauce infused with fresh garlic and zesty lemon, all served over al dente linguine.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt half of the butter. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, then stir in lemon juice and spices.
  4. Add cooked linguine to the skillet, tossing well to coat it in the sauce. Use reserved pasta water if needed to adjust the consistency.
  5. Nestle sliced chicken on top of the pasta mixture. Serve warm.
