  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • ½ cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Large Egg
  • ¼ cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare corn by draining canned corn thoroughly or thawing and drying frozen corn.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk the egg and then add flour, cheeses, breadcrumbs, and spices.
  3. Incorporate the prepared corn into the mixture until well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into small balls or discs.
  5. For frying: Heat vegetable oil to 350-375°F (175-190°C) and fry bites until golden brown (2-3 minutes per side). For baking: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake bites for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway.
