  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cumin

  • ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¾ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¾ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¾ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • optional: up to ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • kosher salt and ground black pepper, to season

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl or jar, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, honey (or alternative), and all spices. Season with salt and black pepper.
  2. Whisk or shake until smooth.
  3. Pour the marinade over 2 pounds of your choice of meat or veggies. Ensure they are well-coated.
  4. Marinate for at least 6 hours or up to 2 days in the fridge.
