  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then combine it with water in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15–18 minutes until tender.
