  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40–45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Optionally, brush warm cake with a honey-orange glaze made from mixing honey with orange juice.
