  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients on back of box)
  • 12.8 oz hot fudge sauce
  • 3.4 oz instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1.75 cups milk
  • 30 Oreo cookies (crushed)
  • 8 oz Cool Whip, thawed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven as directed on the cake mix box. In a mixing bowl, combine chocolate cake mix with required ingredients from the package instructions and pour into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Bake for about 25 minutes or until done. Allow cooling completely.
  2. For the pudding, whisk together instant chocolate pudding mix and milk in a separate bowl until smooth; let sit for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  3. Once cooled, spread hot fudge sauce over the cake base, layer half of the pudding mixture on top, sprinkle half of the crushed Oreos, and top with half of the Cool Whip.
  4. Repeat layering with remaining pudding, Oreos, and Cool Whip.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
