  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups diced peaches (fresh or canned)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup butter (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar and let it froth for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, melted butter, salt, eggs, and flour. Stir in the yeast mixture until well combined. Knead until smooth and allow to rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  3. Prepare the filling by mixing diced peaches with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and evenly spread the peach filling over it. Roll tightly and slice into 12 pieces. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. For frosting, beat softened cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  7. Drizzle frosting over warm rolls before serving.
