  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chai spice blend
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons chai spice blend
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 4-6 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Brown the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat until dark amber, then transfer to a stand mixer.
  2. Mix in brown sugar and granulated sugar until combined. Add eggs and vanilla, then mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, oats, chai spice blend, baking soda, and salt. Gradually combine this with the wet ingredients.
  4. Chill the dough for 10–15 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  5. Scoop dough into balls (3 tablespoons each) and flatten slightly on sheets.
  6. Bake for 12–14 minutes until edges are golden; cool on wire racks.
  7. Whisk together glaze ingredients and dip cooled cookies into the mixture.
