Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into strips
  • 8 oz rotini pasta
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

Instructions

  1. Cook the rotini pasta in salted boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak strips with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter with olive oil. Sear the steak strips for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from heat.
  3. In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium, add remaining butter and garlic; sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Add heavy cream and stir in Velveeta until melted. Mix in mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan until smooth.
  4. Combine cooked rotini with the sauce; add steak strips back to the skillet and warm everything through for about 12 minutes.
  5. Serve hot garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
