  • Juice of half of a lemon (for glaze)
  • 2 Tablespoons warm water (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine milk, melted butter, egg, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and zest.
  4. Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in chopped strawberries.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Prepare the glaze by mixing sugar, lemon juice, and warm water until smooth.
