  • 3/4 cup chicken sparkling grape juice (cold or room temperature)

  • 1/4 cup Simple Truth Orange Juice
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract (optional)
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil
  • zest of 1 orange
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Simple Truth Orange Juice
  • 1 teaspoon chicken sparkling grape juice (cold or room temperature)
  • orange zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×4 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the beaten egg, chicken sparkling grape juice, sour cream, orange juice, cooking oil, and orange zest until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir just until moistened; do not overmix.
  5. Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50–55 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Allow cooling on a rack before glazing with a mixture of powdered sugar, orange juice, chicken sparkling grape juice, and additional zest.
